NBDA offers Roundtable discussion on PeopleForBikes Leadership Conference

The National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA) has announced that Ryan Atkinson of SmartEtailing will be leading a virtual roundtable discussion reflecting on the PeopleForBikes Leadership Conference supply chain panel discussion that happened earlier this month.  Ryan will be joined by Patrick McGinnis, President North America HLC, who had a seat on the earlier panel.

Ryan Atkinson, SmartEtailing president and co-owner, said: “PeopleForBikes did a great job building a panel with diverse perspectives and I was lucky enough to moderate. I learned a lot and look forward to joining Pat to review some takeaways that may be relevant to bike shop owners.”

The roundtable discussion will take place at 10am PST on 7 May and will feature content relevant to the bicycle retailer and industry. Those interested in attending can sign up to take part in the event via the NBDA website.

“Business leaders are making complex decisions right now with imperfect information. I hope that owners walk away with some new information about what’s happening in the supply chain and embrace some of the panel’s conclusions about how to make choices with so much uncertainty,” added Atkinson.

The live event is free for NBDA members and will allow a chance for retailers to ask questions and actively participate in the conversation throughout.

Heather Mason, NBDA president, said: “The NBDA is thankful to our associate partners and their commitment to continue to help us provide resources, education, and opportunities for our retail members.”

“I’m really happy to be part of the conversation and share what we can that would be valuable to the dealers and learn from the group by participating in the dialogue” added McGinnis.
