Oreka to take its new smart trainer direct to dealer

Oreka has launched its new 07 Smart Trainer, at the same time announcing it will now sell direct to dealer.

Designed with the growing eSports marketplace in mind, Oreka’s products are built to deliver a realistic cycling experience aligned with the virtual environments now widely available through services such as Zwift. This synchronised ride experience is achieved without the need for calibration, meaning customers can just unpack and get riding right out of the box.

Ride resistance is produced by a magnetic field that is regulated and adjusted automatically, increasing or decreasing the current that passes through the electromagnets. This results in a functional resistance unit that requires no maintenance or contact.

On those inclines and descents the Autowatt tech delivers an automatic resistance regulation depending on the route, achieving the necessary power to cover any virtual route. The system hardens when climbing and decreases on downhill segments.

The new compact and foldable design of the 07 comes to market with the Plugless Technology, which it shares with the existing Dynamic free moving 05 trainer. This is achieved thanks to the permanent magnet motor that’s built in. This engine, along with the steering wheel of inertia and electronic elements, is configured to generate energy from motion. With that energy, the trainer communicates with apps and controls the resistance. It also has an electric brake with electromagnets and permanent magnets rows, which generates its own energy. The trainer uses this energy to produce the required resistance.

The retail price for the Oreka 07 smart trainer comes in at a £970. Any dealer enquires can be sent to [email protected]
