Pirelli launch range topping P Zero Race TT clincher tyre

Pirelli has introduced its new range topping P Zero Race TT clincher tyre, designed to meet the needs of riders looking for outright speed.

Pirelli’s top-performing clincher tyre is a natural successor to the 2017 launched P Zero Velo TT, a tyre that marked the Italian brands return to cycling, which went on to become the tyre of choice for World Tour teams, delivering several medal-winning rides.

In comparison, the new tyre is 5% lighter and features 15% lower rolling resistance*. With a 120 TPI nylon Lite casing, without additional protection, the Pirelli R&D department has further optimised the tyre with a view to offering the lowest possible rolling resistance.

The P Zero Race TT represents the smoothest and lightest clincher tyre of the entire P Zero Race range, designed to meet the requirements of the World Tour teams backed by Pirelli, combined with the ultra-light Pirelli SmarTUBE inner tubes.

In presenting the new P Zero Race TT the brand also highlights that this is produced in the renovated Pirelli plant of Bollate, just outside Milan.

The P Zero Race TT will be available in the sizes of 26-622 and 28-622, with Extra the UK distributor. Stock will be available from the end of March, with an SRP of £67.99 (700×26) and £68.99 (700×28).
