Reid Bikes appoints exclusive UAE partner
Australia’s Reid Bikes has signed an exclusive sales agreement to enter the UAE market with Adventure HQ.
Having long had eyes for the market, international account manager Troy Kniveton last week inked the agreement that will see the brand carried in three Dubai and two Abu Dhabi branches.
“As soon as you walk into Adventure HQ you immediately get a sense that this is no ordinary retail store,” said Kniveton. “On ground level, you will see a well thought out retail layout with immaculate displays, but look 12 feet off the ground you soon notice something very different and unique. High ropes, walkways and balance bars spanning across the whole store. You then notice full size climbing walls, a skate park and trampoline room with trampolines on the walls. Adventure HQ still has the largest indoor skate park across the whole UAE situated in one of their stores. You quickly understand that Adventure HQ is more than just an specialised outdoor retailer it is a destination in its own right. The staff are friendly and highly skilled, but most importantly they genuinely share a love for getting out and about. I have traveled a lot and have never come across this concept before and the way in which they have executed it is most impressive. The quality of the facilities, well thought out store design and store cleanliness coupled with smiling knowledgeable staff is truly impressive.”
Reid’s entry into the market, the brand hopes, will ignite the low to mid pricepoint. Each bike comes with a liftetime warranty on frames and rigid forks as standard.
