Restrap continues to grow with new factory in Leeds
Restrap has announced that it has moved to a new factory near Leeds City Centre. The move comes after a busy 2020 saw huge interest in bikepacking and cycle touring, which left the group working night and day to meet capacity and demand.
By upsizing from 6,290ft/sq to 12,250m/sq, Restrap are now taking steps to not only streamline its production processes to be more efficient, but to meet the demand of an ever-changing industry.
Dedicated to keeping its production in-house and to reduce its carbon footprint, where possible, all materials are sourced in the UK and sewn by hand in the Yorkshire workshop. Restrap’s current facilities include, precision laser cutting, CNC cutting, 3D printing and a locally based workforce of passionate machinists.
Looking ahead, Restrap are currently working on a whole host of new and innovative products, plus several brand partnerships.
