Selle Italia revamps digital image, updates website

Selle Italia has announced the launch of its heavily updated website, featuring a renewed its look, showcasing a new on-line platform packed with content and in-depth looks at the company’s history and innovative products.

The e-commerce part, currently available for Europe and USA, is one of the various aspects that has been revamped. It provides cycling and triathlon fans with a complete overview of the Selle Italia product range from road to mountain bike models, as well as triathlon, gravel and urban cycling products.

The brand embarked upon the project several months ago, and is now able to present the results of the make-over process, which involved a renewing of its digital image in tandem with the launching a new website. This supports the company’s strategy, with focus specific to on-line activities for the coming years.

With the new platform featuring an e-commerce area, currently available for Europe and USA, the user interface has been designed to deliver a premium user experience, enabling fast access to comprehensive, easy-to-find, information which supports the customer journey from arrival to point of purchase.

A user-friendly interface
In creating the new website, the focus was entirely on usability, i.e. accessibility and ease of use for the end user, with state-of-the-art technical solutions.
The interface was designed to be intuitive and instantly understandable with a user-friendly menu.

Store map
With a view to offering customers an all-round service, the new Selle Italia website has a section dedicated to the store locator. This function makes it possible to view the global store map, search for a single store, or view the list of outlets stocking Selle Italia products by entering the name of a city.

The main focus of the Selle Italia e-commerce site is to provide comprehensive content and support for users. The products are divided by category of use (road, off-road, gravel, triathlon, urban and commuting) and every data sheet provides a technical description and images of the saddle from all angles.
