Housed in Spoon’s new workshop and HQ, Unit Two is located in Puttenham near Guildford, just off the A3 in the heart of the Surrey Hills and will open its doors on Saturday 18th March.

The venue is designed to deliver the ultimate destination experience, with visitors able to see, test and design their own custom build, whilst also showcasing a curated range of the most exclusive bikes, frames and kit from Enve, Moots, Cooper, POC Sports and MAAP, alongside in-house brands Spoon Customs, W.Milla and Sharp Precision Wheels.

This personalised retail experience is surrounded by a working space where you can see your bike being designed, prepped, painted and built.

Free coffee, Wi-Fi, and fresh pastries mean Unit2.cc will also serve as a must-visit ride-out destination.

Spoon Customs boss Andy Carr. Profile pictureCommenting on the idea behind the new space, Unit2 owner, Andy Carr, said: “Like Race Service in LA, or Bike Shed in London, cycling needs spaces where creativity and craft can be celebrated and grow. Unit2.cc provides a space for that, where people, clubs, individuals and brands can come to access, share and experience custom bike products, ideas and culture. The new space will also make our processes way more efficient which will benefit all our customers.”

Enve’s new Melee and just-launched MOG Gravel bike will be available for test rides by appointment and can be built on site to your exact specification, using the best components and groupsets available. The Melee and MOG are available to order now.

For visitors, POC Sports and MAAP have capsule collections to try on and buy, with each refreshed monthly.

Custom paint on tap

Unit2.cc will also serve as the new home for Gun Control Custom Paint. The high-spec paint facility will handle custom paint work for the new Enve range as well as Spoon’s own handmade frames.

Work can also be commissioned on customer frames, and both Sam and Kayley—Gun Control’s highly skilled paint technicians—are certified Cerakote Applicators, an advanced ceramic coating system which can be used to customise a huge range of bikes and components.

Workshop on site

Unit2.cc’s high-specification workshop facilities are staffed by mechanics Glen Whittington and Brown Storie, who are there to keep your bike looking and working at its best.

Bike Fit on point

Additionally, the expertise available on site includes appointments at MTCO, Spoon’s own bike fitting studio, run by Head Fitter Tony Corke, which makes Unit2 the only cycling venue in the UK where you can get a detailed, professional fit, before then specifying, designing and having your bike custom painted and built, all under one roof.
