Tern follows GSD with expanded Vektron family

In the excitement for Tern’s new e-cargo hauler, the GSD, few will have spotted further additions to the rest of the folding electric bike portfolio, branded as Vektron by the label.

Three additions to the Vektron ebike family will feature in the MY18 catalogue; the €2,599 Vektron D7i, sporting a Nexus 7 speed hub, the €2,599 Vektron P9, and the €2,399 Vektron D8. Powered by Max Drive mid-drives, and equipped with 400 wh batteries, Tern now boasts a varied portfolio of e-commuting bikes.

The Vektron folds down small in 10 seconds, for electric multi-modal commuting and theft protection. Thanks to Tern’s adjustable stem and compact geometry, the Vektron resizes in seconds to fit riders from 147 cm to 195 cm, so it’s easy for the family to share. The Vektron is also (tiny) passenger friendly—the P9 and D7i both come equipped with Cargo Racks, which conveniently fit the Thule Maxi seat.
