TMD Security launches keyless eBike lock range

TMD Security has expanded into the cycling industry with the launch of TMD Locks, designed for eBikes.

The TMD Locks product line features keyless access and integrated alarms. By eliminating the traditional key cylinder, the brand has created an ART-2 certified range that is resistant to conventional drilling and picking.

Slated for release in spring 2026, the first product from the new brand will be the TMD Chain Lock. It is the first fully keyless chain lock with ART-2 certification and an integrated alarm. This launch will be followed shortly by the anti-angle grinder TMD U-Lock and the GPS-equipped TMD Ring Lock, which includes a plug-in chain.

The TMD Chain Lock will be available from April 2026 through retailers and on the TMD Locks website.

Leonard Heuker of Hoek, Managing Director of TMD Locks, said: “We’ve spent over 20 years protecting ATMs from sophisticated attacks and fraud. We are taking that banking sector pedigree and applying it to the eBikes, cargo bikes and longtails we ride every day. As a Dutch company, we instinctively understand bike-centric culture, so it’s a natural progression for us.”

“With our advanced proximity unlock technology, we’re introducing a genuinely keyless solution via Bluetooth. There is absolutely no faff; your phone stays in your pocket, and it’s just one press to unlock,” added Marnix Heuker of Hoek, CTO of TMD Locks.

Dealers are currently being sought by the brand.
