UK Tioga distribution goes exclusive with Ison
Cambridge-based Ison distribution is to take over the UK distribution of Tioga, effective from February 1st.
The decision to switch distribution in the UK came on the back of Tioga’s continued advances in the BMX market, giving the firm stronger synergies with Ison which also carries the likes of Volume, Demolition, Gusset and ODI, among other big names in the 20-inch wheel segment.
Extra’s National Sales Manager Simon Ford opened discussions with Ison to give the brand a smooth transition.
Ford said: “After around 20 years working with Tioga it’s with a heavy heart that we part ways, but it’s the right time to pass the baton onwards. Ison has long been involved with BMX racing in particular and have great complementing brands so it makes them the perfect fit to keep the Tioga name firmly established in the UK. Everyone at Extra wishes Ison and Tioga well in the future.”
