Unicorn Inc signs socks brand Versus for UK and Europe distribution

Scotland-based active sports distributor, Unicorn Inc, has become brand partner for Versus Socks, launching February 2025, with a range available to view at the upcoming STAG Winter Show on 10-11 Nov 2024.

Versus was founded in 2015 in Stellenbosch, South Africa, having set out to redefine sportswear from the ground up, starting with the often-overlooked foundation of socks. With now more than four million pairs sold worldwide, founders Hanno Lategan and Jurgens Uys continue to provide athletes and sports enthusiasts with comfortable, durable, and stylish performance socks. The team has grown to over 50 individuals, and their design collection now boasts over 1000 unique patterns.

Versus will join goodr sunglasses and Body Glide in the Unicorn portfolio, further increasing their offering to run specialty, and the wider sports market. Unicorn will also offer the Versus Custom Sock programme throughout the UK, allowing retailers, running and cycling clubs, corporate organisations, and more to create fully personalised socks meticulously crafted to their specifications.

In addition, Unicorn will manage the Versus UK and European eCommerce, Amazon and European distributor relationships. Both parties have a shared mission to provide retailers and consumers with the best possible brand experience, they said, and share in the journey towards inspiring people to enjoy exercise through excitement and creativity.
