Vaimoo showcase ‘Forte Evo’ e-bike sharing system at Move 2022

Vaimoo, the connected e-bike sharing business, is presenting their new Forte Evo e-bike at MOVE 2022, hosted at ExCel, London.

Delivers the complete e-bike sharing solution, Vaimoo’s system consists of electric bicycles, charging stations, and an app for using the service, which improves fleet distribution and maintenance through artificial intelligence algorithms, geo-localisation data and operating parameters in real time.

  • Forte Evo has been designed and developed for easy integrated with existing public transportation systems, with the design optimized for use in both docked (fixed stations) and hybrid (virtual stations) modes.
  • Forte Evo is equipped with a high-capacity, long-lasting battery that gives the vehicle a longer range and the torque sensor that provides a smoother and more natural pedalling experience.
  • In addition – thanks to the uptake in the latest IoT technologies – Forte Evo enables operators to optimize the management and maintenance of the entire fleet as a multimodal travel experience, integrated with existing transportation systems.

The system has been designed to adapt to any micro-mobility and last-mile transport scenarios, both public and private, exploits the full potential of IoT (Internet of Things) technologies, for rapid integration with other transport systems, such as metro, train or bus, aiming to ensure a unique and well-integrated travel experience.

Vaimoo – an Italian company engaged in the railway diagnostics, digital mechatronics, and aerospace sectors – is already implemented by the cities of Copenhagen, Rotterdam and adopted also in Poland and UK by respectively Blinkee and Voi Technology, one of the largest European micro-mobility operators to extend its e-scooter sharing service. In 2022 it will also arrive in Stockholm through an agreement with the Spanish operator CityBike Global.

MOVE 2022, taking place at ExCel, London, June 15th – 16th,  positions itself as “the world’s most important mobility event, where disruptive technology and innovation drive change.” Drawing some 350 exhibitors across automotive OEMs, transport operators, tech companies, fleet, energy companies, fast growing start-ups and policymakers, the yearly gathering is an opportunity to discover next generation technologies being brought into the marketplace.

Vaimoo can be found at booth 411, with the Forte Evo e-bike on display.

In the UK bike share schemes remove 3.7 car miles, per user, every week, with research conducted by Collaborative Mobility UK (CoMoUK) finding that 53% of bike share scheme users chose a scheme in place of car or taxi.
