VELO DE VILLE unveils HUB-e for urban riders
VELO DE VILLE has launched a new urban e-bike, the HUB-e, combining light weight, a comfortable riding position and wide tyres.
Starting at only 19 kilograms, the HUB-e is powered by the new Bosch HUB motor in combination with the Bosch PowerTube battery (360Wh). The hub motor, weighing only around 2.3 kilograms, delivers 45Nm of torque and up to 400 watts of power. It integrates almost invisibly into the rear wheel hub, contributing to the bike’s low overall weight and clean design.
Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth interface, the HUB-e can be integrated into the Bosch Smart System.
The HUB-e is VELO DE VILLE’s 60th anniversary model. The company stated that the upright riding position provides good visibility in city traffic and enhances riding comfort on both short and long trips. With a maximum load capacity of 140 kilograms, there is also plenty of room for groceries and extra luggage.
Moreover, VELO DE VILLE has also launched the HUB-e XS, a compact version of the HUB-e. Like the HUB-e, the HUB-e XS is available from 19 kilograms and is designed for a maximum gross weight of 140 kilograms. Available with a 26-inch Wave or 26-inch Diamond frame, it is suitable for trips in dense city traffic and shorter journeys.
To celebrate its 60th anniversary, VELO DE VILLE is offering both the HUB-e and the HUB-e XS at a special price of €2,499.
