Vok Bikes scales eCargo bike production with Renault Group

Vok Bikes has announced a new production line at Renault Group’s Refactory plant, aimed at scaling the manufacture of its eCargo bikes.

The partnership combines Renault’s industrial expertise and manufacturing infrastructure with Vok’s innovations in urban mobility. Mass production will begin in 2026 at the Refactory plant in Flins, France, Renault’s flagship hub for circular economy and sustainable manufacturing.

By utilising the Refactory’s advanced capabilities, Vok Bikes will be able to scale efficiently while benefiting from automotive-grade quality and sustainability standards applied to this emerging segment of urban transport. Available in three body styles, Vok Bikes can carry up to 200kg for distances of up to 60 miles, with a top speed of 15 miles per hour. Designed for last-mile logistics, tradespeople and food delivery services, the bikes feature innovative in-wheel motors that provide high-torque four-wheel drive and traction control, combined with an anti-lock braking system for safe and efficient urban transport.

For Vok Bikes, the partnership represents a significant milestone in its Western European expansion, increasing annual production capacity tenfold. It also underscores Renault Group’s broader commitment to sustainable mobility and industrial transformation through its Refactory initiative, which promotes circular economy principles, extends vehicle lifecycles, and drives innovation in electrification and urban transport solutions.
