ZyroFisher revamps sales structure to simplify industry proposition

ZyroFisher has created a single IBD external account management team in order to react to significant changes in the UK cycle market and ‘simplify its proposition to the UK cycling industry’.

The move will mean the distributor has a dedicated point of contact to all its retail partners, with IBD external account managers supported by dedicated internal account managers, brands experts and bike sales teams.

Back office and support in its Luton office looks set for centralisation at its Darlington base. Here’s the full statement:

“At ZyroFisher we strive to provide a compelling and relevant proposition for our customers and our brand partners. In recent years we have seen significant changes to the UK cycling market and to what we believe are the priorities of our customers.

In light of these changes, we have reviewed our current business model and decided we need to simplify our proposition to the industry. We believe IBDs want a simplified interface with ZyroFisher encompassing our full brand portfolio and have therefore taken the decision to create a single IBD external account management team.

As part of the largest account management team in the UK market, we will now be able to offer a dedicated point of contact to all our retail partners and through this simplified approach we will be able to provide an unparalleled proposition to IBDs.

Our IBD external account managers will be supported by dedicated internal account managers as well as our brand experts in our brand management and bike sales teams.

As part of our simplification strategy we are also proposing to centralise the remaining aspects of our back office and support activity currently undertaken in Luton and simplify the managerial and supervisory structure of our warehouse in Darlington.

Today, we are commencing the process of communicating with all staff about these proposals. For the next couple of months we don’t anticipate any changes and we will keep you informed as we implement our revised proposition.”
