Ahooga rolls out UK dealer network for premium folding bike platform

Ahooga has confirmed a new UK trade partnership alongside an expanding network of dealers, bringing its patented folding bike platform to more riders across the country.

The company said its Max model is designed to deliver the ride feel and stability of a full-size city bike, while folding compactly for apartments, trains and multi-modal journeys. In UK cities, where space is limited and transport is varied, Ahooga believes that combining folding practicality with true ride quality is becoming essential.

Ahooga’s Max platform has already gained strong momentum across Europe, with more than 120 dealer locations in Belgium, Germany and other key markets in under two years. The UK rollout follows the same dealer-first approach, focusing on premium, space-efficient, high-turnover mobility products supported by a strong brand proposition.

Through the new UK trade partnership, Ahooga will support dealers with improved product availability, in-store training and a structured retail programme designed to position the Max as a premium solution for modern city living.

To support its UK expansion, Ahooga is strengthening its commercial team with experienced cycling industry professionals, including Matt Cooke (Cooke Components Ltd), responsible for UK distribution; Mike Clark, former Eovolt sales representative, responsible for London and South East sales; and Ralf Krause, formerly responsible for national sales at Brompton, overseeing sales across the rest of the UK and Northern Ireland.

“The UK is ready for a premium folding bike that rides like a full-size city bike but fits modern living. This trade partnership and dealer expansion is the right next step, making Ahooga accessible through leading retailers, with the service and support UK riders expect,” said Hendrik Winkelmans, CEO of Ahooga.
