Windwave has recruited Andy Hill, the former Sales Manager at Gruppo Media, to the role of Account Manager for East Midlands, East Anglia, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
Windwave’s new recruit will work closely with Commercial Manager Luke Leuillette to further strengthen Windwave’s offering to brands, stockists and consumers.
“Windwave have a superb portfolio of brands and a well-established network of successful dealers. I look forward to working with those brands and dealers to further enhance the product offering and levels of service and support that we offer. As soon as travel restrictions allow I intend to meet as many of the dealer network as I possibly can to solicit their feedback and input as to how we can best achieve that,” said Andy Hill.
He added: “The unprecedented circumstances created by the Covid pandemic has seen a surge in leisure cycling and active travel these past 12 months and now with a real desire on the part of government and local authorities to invest in cycling infrastructure these truly are exciting times for the cycling industry. For me personally it’s a very exciting time to be joining Windwave and I can’t wait to get started.”
Windwave has recently added a handful of new brands to its portfolio with Thok E-bikes and RideWrap joining in the past year. A further new brand addition is apparently expected in the coming weeks, we’re told.
“Andy’s appointment as an Account Manager is a key addition to Windwave, to continue and strengthen relationships with our key accounts within the cycling industry,” added Leuillette,
