Argon 18 Europe announce Alex Croucher as UK Sales Manager
Canadian bike brand Argon 18 have announced Alex Croucher as the new UK Sales Manager, with the business also making the move to a Direct-To-Retailer model.
The appointment of Alex Croucher sees Argon 18 bring onboard an industry veteran with over 25 years experience working sales and customer care across the the sports & cycling industry.
Having previously worked with a UK based distributor, Argon 18 has realigned its UK strategy to more closely reflect that in other markets. The brand already operates a direct to dealer model in North America, while in Europe, a hybrid version including a mix of direct to consumers via click and collect and direct to dealers is in place.
In making the announcement, the brand states that continued growth in popularity in the UK has led to its decision to introduce a direct-to-retail model. The announcement further emphasises that this move will make its bikes more accessible to a wider audience through the growth of its UK business. Here, the brand has a stated goal of doubling its 35-strong UK dealer network.
The announcement highlights that UK Argon 18 customers will directly benefit from direct sales and customer service support from the brand.

This will help us to streamline our distribution process, reduce lead times, and improve overall customer satisfaction. By eliminating intermediaries, we will engage directly with our retailer network, ensuring a seamless flow of information, quick order processing, and efficient customer support.”
