Bangkok cycle trade show AseanBike postponed to 2021

The organisers of the AseanBike exhibition, originally scheduled for October 29th to 31st, have taken the decision to postpone the event to 2021.

“We are aware that many exhibitors, media representatives and visitors would face significant obstacles to attend related to health, travel and international concerns,” said the organisers in a statement this morning, referring to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. A significant portion of the show’s visitors were expected to fly in from overseas.

AseanBike is delivered by the organisers of European trade show giant Eurobike, Messe Friedrichshafen GmbH, and N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer Co., Ltd.

A new date is expected to be published once the organiser has more clarity on the course of global events.

The cycling industry’s 2020 trade show and event calendar has largely been decimated by the Covid-19 crisis with cancellations all over the globe, including the cancellation of some that had already been rescheduled. In the case of the Taipei Cycle Show, a digital version of the exhibition helped some create business opportunities online.
