Bicycle Association 2023 Members conference fully booked

The Bicycle Association has announced that its 2023 Members conference is now fully booked, and has a waiting list.

The first in-person annual conference since 2019 will have more than 90 UK cycling companies and businesses participating, representing the whole of the UK cycling industry.

The event, taking place on February 9th, has a line up of speakers and topics, with more detail added in the lead up to the conference, on the day and beyond. The full agenda can be reviewed here.

For the UK cycling industry the roll of the BA has become increasingly important post Brexit. At an EU level membership of both Cycle Industries Europe (CIE) and the Confederation of European Bicycle Industries (CONEBI), and representation at the UN in Geneva, via the World Bicycle Industry Association (WBIA), keeps UK voices heard, whilst also providing a portal through which UK industry can keep up to date with positive cycling infrastructure and policy changes taking place across the EU.

The Bicycle Association is structured to represent all of its member companies, while remaining flexible to reflect the differing needs and priorities within our membership.

Some companies will join specifically to benefit from the BA’s technical, market data and other specific services. They, along with all BA members, are always invited to provide input via meetings and the BA team at any time. And where the BA is developing a Government consultation response, for example, input is always requested from the full membership.

Brands who are members of the BA Leadership Group include Brompton, Specialized, SRAM, Trek, Giant, Raleigh, and Islabikes, amongst a number of other national and multinational businesses.
