British eBike brand Mycle targets new UK retail partners

Mycle, the British eBike brand, has announced it is actively pursuing new UK retail partners, introducing B2B sales alongside its existing D2C offering, in a move which sees the business transition towards a hybrid model.

The switch has already seen several successes, with Mycle opening their first outlet store in Sidcup, London as well as partnering with a number of retailers around the UK. Take the step towards having a retail presence following feedback at consumer shows and demo events. Customers repeatedly expressed strong interest in owning a Mycle bike but wanted the opportunity to see and test one in the flesh.

Here the brand sees a means to support new retail partners, with customers able to visit a store, test ride and buy a bike, and form a relationship with a local business who’ll be able to support Mycle customers, delivering post purchase service and support.

Many will know the brand for their industry disrupting eCargo bike, which, with a £1999 stating price, and an extensive range of accessories design to maximise usability, has found favour with customers and the cycling media. The Mycle range includes folding models, hybrids and more, with premium features such as integrated lights, cargo racks and mudguards coming as standard.

With a large proportion of Mycle customers being new to cycling, the extra peace of mind gained by hands-on experience with the bike, alongside a local resource for servicing and advice, has already resulted in a notable boost in customer conversions.

UK retailers looking to introduce customers to more affordable eBike options will find Mycle offering a diverse collection of eBikes retailing from just £999.

While many of our customers are happy with purchasing online, we have found that for some, having a local expert to guide them through the process of selecting their perfect bike as well as provide post purchase advice and support is the final piece in the puzzle. We’re incredibly excited to already be working with a number of retailers to make this happen and are keen to expand our network further.”

All Mycle E-Bikes are built and tested in the UK by our amazing Cytech bike technicians, with a team of experts on hand to provide pre and post-sales support.
