Now in its seventh year, Girona’s global cycling festival, Sea Otter Europe, is preparing to welcome thousands of visitors, including professional and amateur riders, brands, and a growing cycling as transport curious audience keen to explore what life on a bicycle has to offer.
When Cycling Industry News attended the 2022 edition of Sea Otter Europe, which attracted nearly 60’000 visitor, one of the standout features was that the festival was clearly open to cycling enthusiasts in all its forms.
Visitor feedback also confirms a good blend, and balance, featuring professional and amateur racers, brands exhibiting, retailers, and plenty of customers keen to take up show specific promotional offers. With a product range on show which ran from high performance products to cycling as transport eBikes, including apparel, P&A, plus home and professional workshop essentials, there was definitely something for everyone.

- For exhibitors and brands, it is an ideal place to connect with the wider industry, including distributors, brands, existing cyclists, and potential new buyers, all in one place, on one weekend. More than 400 brands, and more than 200 stands, laid out over more than 30,000 m2 of exhibition space, makes for an impressive experience for all, whether attending and taking part.
