‘Brompton by Subscription’ pilot launches in Germany

After a successful internal pilot with Deutsche Bahn, Brompton have partnered with the German provider of networked mobility, offering its subscription service to the rail networks’ 5 million plus daily customers.

Announcing the partnership with the Stuttgart S-Bahn and Brompton Bicycle, Deutsche Bahn rail network are making a limited time offer* to new customers, as part of the year based VVS ticket service.

The offer; “Simply book a high-quality Brompton folding bike in the bundle subscription for only €29 per month* with the annual public transport ticket.” The Brompton bike offered via the 12 month subscription is the Brompton C Line Utility in black.

The sign up also includes:

  • Insurance and servicing
  • Discount on subsequent purchase of a new Brompton bike
  • No shipping or pick-up costs

With Deutsche Bahn Connect focused upon, “connected mobility for a cleaner future“, the ability to commute via Brompton, folding this for train or bus travel, makes for a seamless partnership. For Brompton, with global growth driving the business to new heights, partnerships of this kind have a significant roll to play as the business aims for 200’000 UK produced bikes per year at its proposed new factory and head office location.
