Cannondale recalls select Bad Boy/Girl commuter bikes

Cannondale has announced a recall of Bad Boy and Bad Girl commuter bicycles shipped between 2010 to 2012.

Having received around 30 reports of the bike’s fork cracking at the axle, the Cycling Sports Group label made the call to recall matte black cycles with date codes beginning with P, Q and RB through RL. These markings are found on the base of the fork.

Consumers with the bicycle can immediately return their bike to the nearest authorized dealer for a free of charge replacement fork.

The affected models sold from June 201o for between $1,000 and $1,800. Around 3,100 have been sold, 400 of which went to the Canadian market.
