Long-term bicycle industry digital expert James Hamilton has today announced that he has branched off on his own to launch a new digital marketing business dubbed Actively Outdoors.
With Bianchi UK already on board as a client, Hamilton’s Hertfordshire-based business will assist brands and retailers in the creation of cutting-edge digital marketing assets. The studio will also work closely with publishers to offer a seamless and simplified service for its clientele.
The start-up will specialise in offering ad technology and other marketing services, normally only used and afforded by the world’s most recognised household names to specialist markets such as cycling, wildlife observation, outdoors and marine.
Hamilton commented: “Special interest media has for many years held an unbreakable reputation for delivering loyal, engaged and sustainable audiences. Of course though – in the here and now, as with all traditional media, special interest titles and advertisers have had to adapt in recent years. Mainly to consider the opportunities provided by a multi-platform approach with digital at their heart. It is through using a 360-degree approach to multi-platform assets and good tech resource that can lead to big gains for both publisher, advertiser and consumer and at AO we will facilitate the assets required to make this happen. Some of the digital ad creative I see brands putting out there for instance (probably down to file size limits), oh man, it makes me wonder why they have even bothered spending good money on ad space in the first place. This won’t happen to our clients – a premium brand deserves premium creative and reporting tech.”
