Canyon enters children’s bike market

Canyon has lifted the lid on an entry into the children’s bike market, bringing forward a range of three models for ages three and up.

Designed to be ridden off road, the range comes specced with hydraulic disc brakes, through axles and geared drivetrains. Geometry is given careful consideration and notably kids frames offer a reduced step over for easy mounting and added confidence.

Kid specific features include rubber bumpers for cockpit safety, while on the AL16 the front end actually carries an 18″ front wheel to aid momentum over the bumps.

The public debut for the range comes at the Berlin Fahraddschau, running March 3rd to 5th. Visitors will also be able to get their kids to saddle up as part of the kid’s test track feature. Brand manager Milena Weber and product manager Michael Staab will be on the booth to talk through the range.
