Ciovita introduce new women’s Pace Supremo Bib shorts
South African cycling brand Ciovita have introduced a brand new women’s bib short into its range with the launch of the Pace Supremo Bib.
The Pace Supremo Bib features a strap designed specifically to enable the bib to be “dropped” if and when riders need to answer nature’s call when out on a ride. Paired with a magnetic clip, the straps are kept securely in place when riding, yet easily removable when required.
As is the Ciovita way, the product has already been race proven, with Ciovita riders Elrika Harmzen and Jessica Wilkinson the winning female team at this years Trans Baviaans – the toughest single day mountain bike race on the planet, covering 230km, and 2’800 metres of climbing – finishing in a time of 10 hrs 54 minutes and 37 seconds
In South Africa, August is Women’s Month. Each year August 9th is celebrated as National Women’s Day. For Ciovita this saw the brand running #Sheovita branding throughout the month, as well as hosting a ride on the national day.
August also saw Ciovita athlete Candice Lill winning a silver-medal at the UCI Marathon World Championships in Scotland.
The brand – already active in Spain, Croatia and Switzerland, and the Official Technical Cycling Apparel Partner of the Epic Series, comprising 8 world leading mountain bike stage races – launched into the UK market at the 2023 edition of The Cycle Show.
