Classified announces UK structure with sales agent recruits
John Harris has joined Classified Cycling as Business Development Manager in the UK and will now work alongside a fresh team of sales agents made up of John Styles (SE), John Hollier (SW), Dave Macdonald (SCT & North EN) and Keith Gallagher (IRL).
John has been bought in to create a dealer direct plan for the UK and Ireland, from market specific pricing (which has been launched last week), OE partnerships, logistical operations, plus marketing and events.
An announcement for the Midlands is expected shortly in order to complete the sales team.
The aim for the brand is to strategically work with good quality dealers who can offer a true customer service, as Classified will insist on the wheels being fitted and set up in store to ensure quality in delivery.
“I am so excited to join a true market disruptor with unparalleled innovation in the Classified shifting system”, says John Harris.
With the current range including one Gravel (G30) and two road wheelsets (R35 &R50), each is specifically designed to work perfectly in combination with the brand’s Powershift hub. For those yet to look closely at the flagship product, the Powershift hub is a wireless two-speed shifting system, integrated in the rear hub, allowing the rider to change gears in a split second, under full load and on any terrain.
Stock is now available to ship from Belgium with a “competitive package,” says Harris, who is now contactable by email here.
John Styles periodically writes for CyclingIndustry.News and so has a back catalogue of excellent commentaries delivering an economists’ and sales agents’ view of the bike business. Catch some of those articles here.
