Copenhagen Bike Show reports higher attendance and global participation

The Copenhagen Bike Show concluded with an increase in visitor numbers and international participation.

Held from 7–8 March at Lokomotivværkstedet, a conference centre in the Danish capital, the show welcomed about 12,500 visitors and more than 120 exhibitors from Denmark, the Nordic region, Europe and Japan.

At the show, visitors were able to explore everything from high-performance road bikes and gravel setups to mountain bikes, eBikes and new mobility solutions aimed at both urban and commuter cycling.

International participation was also a key feature of the event. Among the exhibitors was the cycling tourism destination Torroella de Montgrí and L’Estartit on Spain’s Costa Brava, which used the show to reach Scandinavian cyclists and promote the region’s cycling routes for road, gravel and mountain biking.

“We are a cycling destination offering around 20 routes for cycling tourism, gravel and MTB suitable for all levels. For us, participating in Copenhagen Bike Show is a great opportunity to reach both Danish and Scandinavian cyclists,” said Lydia Alonso from Torroella de Montgrí and L’Estartit.

The event also featured niche manufacturers and custom builders, including a Japanese frame builder who travelled to Copenhagen to present his handmade bicycles.

“Copenhagen Bike Show has developed into an important platform where brands, manufacturers and specialists meet face to face with partners, retailers and engaged cyclists,” said Christian Ritter, organiser of Copenhagen Bike Show.

Following the event, the cycling season in Scandinavia has officially begun, while preparations for next year’s Copenhagen Bike Show are already underway.
