Cycle Republic rolls out new London service centres
Cycle Republic has opened two new Shimano service centres across London, strengthening its partnership with the components manufacturer.
Last year Cycle Republic opened its 21st new shop in Gateshead. The 5,500 square feet retail space enhanced its workshop proposition by partnering with Shimano to open the first dedicated Shimano service centre.
According to Cycle Republic, the service centre has received excellent customer feedback and generated positive sales by delivering an enhanced service programme, since opening last autumn.
A further two service centres within London have recently opened at the retailers’ flagship shop in Fenchurch Street and its store in Canary Wharf. These workshops offer customers a unique servicing and repair experience managed by certified and trained colleagues. All centres provide same-day servicing and repairs are fully equipped with an enhanced range of Shimano components and parts including pedals, group sets and brakes.
Cycle Republic Managing Director Peter Kimberley commented on the new centres: “After the successful opening of our first service centre in Gateshead, I am delighted to be working with Shimano once again. The workshop is the heartbeat of our shops for our customers, colleagues are really excited with the opportunity to provide our London customers with a competitively priced and unparalleled service experience.”
Shimano UK Brand Manager, Geoff Giddings, said: “We are delighted to work with Cycle Republic on this partnership, they have embraced our vision for the Shimano Service Centre in Gateshead, and it is fantastic to be extending the opening of an additional two centres across their London shops.”
