Cycle Show bolsters trade day with new Business Conference aimed at retailers and brands
This year’s Cycle Show, the first under new ownership, will see the trade day bolstered by a new ‘Business Conference’.
Speakers will address issues in establishing, maintaining and expanding successful retail businesses, with sessions with a broader remit for brands as well as retailers.
The morning sessions will focus on site selection, negotiating rents and leases, and online and social media.
The sessions will cover:

11:00 – 11:30 Firing on all channels: Leveraging opportunities across your business – hosted by Emma Jones, Enterprise Nation
11:30 – 12:00 Lifestyle: understanding cycling and leisure – hosted by Simon Bently, Halfords
12:00 – 12:45 Store design – how to maximise impact and sales – hosted by Dalzeil + Pow
The afternoon sessions will focus on people, retaining staff and how marketing can bring in new customers:
14:15 – 14:45 Marketing: Reaching out to an army of women customers – hosted by Lynsey Douglas, Nielsen Sports
14:45 – 15:15: Leadership: Creating the right management team for growth – hosted by Andy Marsh, Missguided & Bench
15:15 – 15:45 Customer as advocates: How disruption delivers results
Cycle Show’s trade day takes place 12 September 2019. Trade registration is open online.
