WholeGrain Cycles appoints Upgrade as exclusive UK distributor
WholeGrain Cycles has appointed Upgrade as its exclusive UK distributor, with all bike rack and luggage products available now.
The WholeGrain Cycles range also includes straps, bungees, adapters and other accessories. Among its products is the JACK Rack, a front bicycle rack that securely straps to a wide range of bikes without the need for tools. Compatible with handlebar diameters of 22.2mm, 25.4mm and 31.8mm, it can be quickly fitted, removed and transferred between bikes.
Made from solid 304 stainless steel, the JACK Rack comes complete with two adjustable 1.2m bungees with snake heads, a selection of spacers and inserts, and five different-length Loadstraps for a secure fit. The Black JACK version features a black powder-coated finish. The rack has a maximum load capacity of 5kg, helping to maintain safe and stable bike handling while carrying luggage.
The WholeGrain Cycles range also includes the Cliff, a mount designed for most two-strap handlebar bags, particularly top-loading models. Mounted in front of the handlebars, it frees up space on the tops of drop bars, keeps the bag away from cables and the head tube to help prevent damage, improves front tyre clearance, and positions the bag for easier access. Made from durable 304 stainless steel and other high-quality materials, the Cliff features a fully replaceable and adaptable design for long-term use.
The CARRIE Cradle is a handlebar carrying system that combines a cradle with a waterproof dry bag. The system uses a single pair of WholeGrain’s STIFF Straps for both handlebar attachment and dry bag compression, simplifying installation and packing. It comes with an 18-litre waterproof dry bag made from lightweight recycled polyester ripstop with a durable silicone coating and taped internal seams.
The cradle can be mounted in either a narrow or wide position to suit different handlebars and features multiple high-strength recycled polyester webbing attachment points for carrying additional gear. An easy-clean PET-coated panel on the underside improves durability in wet and muddy conditions, while the cradle itself is constructed from a unique mono-material design to enhance recyclability at the end of its service life.
