Cycle Surgery parent confirms string of store closures

Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Ltd, the trading brand of AS Adventure Group, has today confirmed the intention to close three UK Cycle Surgery stores and replace a further three stores with fascia sitting within Outdoor and Cycle Concepts UK portfolio.

The current proposal is that stores situated in London Strype St, Southwark Bridge and Lee Valley Velopark will close. Cotswold Outdoor will take on the trading space at Tunbridge Wells (previously co-branded) and Cycle Surgery Wirral will be replaced by an expanded product offering from Runners Need and Snow+Rock who already retail at the location.

Cycle Surgery Moorgate will be replaced by Snow+Rock, with Runners Need continuing to trade from this store. Staff in each of these stores are going through a consultation period and we will be able to provide more detail once this is completed.

The business outlined that the proposed changes will enable Cycle Surgery to strengthen the business and continue to improve upon customer service.
