Cycling distributor Hookit produces 25 trade podcasts in first year live

UK cycling goods distributor this week marks one year of producing the HKT Podcast, which continues to line up insightful chats with industry and pro cycling insiders.

The HKT Podcast kicked off it’s first episode with Cy Turner, owner of Cotic Bikes. The episode provided a great insight into the workings of a bike brand from it’s humble beginnings to where they are right now.

Since then there’s been a new episode almost bi-weekly and with some impressive guests appearing as guests. World Downhill Champion Danny Hart, Brook Macdonald and Loic Bruni are among some of the professional riders. When it comes to industry and media personalities Joe Bowman and Duncan Philpott of Steel City Media and most recently Santa Cruz Syndicate team manager, Kathy Sessler have appeared.

“Moving forward we are trying to release a new episode on a Tuesday evening. The brands we represent here at HKT are becoming more involved and the whole process is a lot of fun. It’s been incredible to watch the show grow and the response to the episodes is always overwhelming,” says host Davi Birks.

Marking the 25th episode Claudio Caluori is the latest guest, who provides listeners with an insight into his new team ownership role at Scott-Velosolutions, how he builds some of the world’s best pump tracks, his POV track previews and plenty more.
