CyclingElectric to host four eBike Demo Days across the UK in 2026

EBike specialist title CyclingElectric.com will host four Demo Days across Q2 and Q3 this year, giving riders the opportunity to test-ride eBikes from multiple manufacturers.

The events are designed to allow side-by-side comparisons on purpose-built cycling circuits, free from traffic. This year’s programme will also include an adult cycle trainer to support first-time riders and those returning to cycling, helping them become familiar with eBike and cargo bike handling.

A wide range of bikes will be available to test, including commuter, folding, cargo, leisure, road and gravel models, as well as bikes fitted with child carriers. Brands attending the 2026 series will be announced later this year. Participants at last year’s events included Tenways, Jorvik, Dolan, Vélo de Ville, Raleigh, ARCC, Riese & Müller, Estarli and Benno. Brand representatives will be on hand to provide guidance and technical advice.

Two Demo Days will take place in London, at Lee Valley VeloPark on 19 April and Herne Hill Velodrome on 5 July. Additional events will be held at The Brownlees Centre in Leeds on 7 June and at Odd Down Cycle Track in Bath on 14 June. All events will run from 10am to 4pm.

“Test riding plays a vital role in the buying process, and as we enter our third year we are continuing to refine the events to help more people get back into cycling,” said Mark Sutton, Editor of Cycling Electric. “A demo can make a real difference in showing how eBikes ride and the freedoms and cost savings they can offer.”

Adrian Hogan, Commercial Director at Cycling Electric, added: “Last year’s events generated significant bike sales, and this year provides an even greater opportunity for brands to connect directly with customers across the UK.”
