After starting ten years ago with Powertools development for Bosch, EMEC Prototyping has celebrated its anniversary with the move to its new HQ with its large Test laboratory.
The move to the new location during the company’s anniversary year enables the expansion of test capacities and the testing scope of electromechanical systems.
EMEC’s core business is the development of products and customer-specific testing technology. EMEC-Prototyping develops products and test stands, but also E-Bikes, PowerTools, electrical vehicles and technical devices for the medical and food industries.
Due to the rising demand, EMEC decided to expand its test services and thus cover a wider and more flexible range of testing technics. The move to the new location during the company’s anniversary year enables the expansion of test capacities and the testing scope of electromechanical systems. The new location offers 500 m² and good working conditions for test laboratory, workshop and office.
The testing technology for the laboratory has been extended to include endurance, component, engine comparison and special testing processes such as R200 and WMTC. The range of tests includes electromechanical and mechanical durability of pedelecs, e-Bikes and all L standard vehicles. Accredited tests are performed in cooperation with testing institutes. A further expansion of the laboratory is already planned. Beside the installation of a special wet and dirt lab, an outdoor test track is currently being implemented.
