Euro Mobility Festival showcases urban cycling
The urban mobility sector, and especially urban cycling, shows no sign of slowing down. It has become one of the main pillars of the cycling industry and the emergence of the Euro Mobility Festival is proof of this, point out the team behind Sea Otter Europe.
Where the main Sea Otter Europe festival, hosted in Girona, has become a must attend event in the world of cycling festivals, the Euro Mobility Festival (EMF) is drawing on this to position itself as a leading festival specialising in sustainable and urban mobility.
The subject of urban travel has become a priority on a variety of levels. From citizens, who are increasingly aware of the need to seek environmentally-friendly mobility systems, to governments and institutions, who are aware that all urban planning must consider the new forms of mobility that are becoming popular. Not to mention the industry, which has witnessed how urban cycling is one of the few markets that has continued to grow in sales.
All this makes it essential to have a meeting point where users, industry and institutions can come together. Both to showcase the latest developments in the sector and to encourage connections between all the players in the world of sustainable mobility, from the same place.
The expansion of the sector has led to a boom in products specifically designed for urban mobility, a specialisation that is the basis for the creation of the EMF. Urban mobility is increasingly attracting users who do not necessarily have a sporting background, which means that the potential audience for urban mobility products is much broader than, for example, conventional cycling. This gives rise to specialisation and to the emergence of brands, shops, products and services fully targeted at this new, large collective.
Organised according to the same quality criteria that has allowed Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental to be recognised worldwide, but with a completely unique identity, the EMF offers the perfect venue, Girona, and reach (media and public) that is key to ensuring the festival’s successful impact. Whether to showcase new products to the public or as a meeting and discussion point for brands and influential institutions in the sector.
The Expo zone will also have a testing programme and a series of activities that make the EMF a festival that ticks all the boxes to secure its place in the international calendar. The EMF will have an exclusive space for exhibitors, which will also be located close to the large Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental Expo area.
What will you find in the Expo zone? Naturally, urban bikes and everything related to them will be heavily represented as well as other forms of mobility, such as light electric vehicles and all manner of personal mobility vehicles.
Admission to the EMF is completely free and the festival will be held from 22 to 24 September 2023 in Girona.
