Evans Cycles announces new concession store in Bracknell

Evans Cycles has continued the growth of its bricks and mortar business, announcing a new store opening in Bracknell, enabling the business to engage the local cycling community in Berkshire.

Evans Cycles hope to support the needs of the growing number of cyclists in and around Bracknell, and promote cycling generally as an active form of transport.

Covering 3,056 square feet, the new store will stock over 150 bikes across multiple disciplines, including road, MTB, hybrid, electric and kids bikes, as well as clothing and accessories from brands such as Cannondale, Brompton Fox, Pinnacle, and Muddy Fox. The store will also boast a fully equipped workshop with a team of expert mechanics on hand to help.

Commenting on the opening of the new Bracknell store, Michael Briggs, Lead Area Manager for Evans Cycles said: “As a brand, we are committed to expanding the bricks and mortar side of our business so that cyclists of all abilities always have a friendly, helping hand nearby. Bracknell is home to an array of cycling routes, encouraging cyclists of all abilities to explore the surrounding area. From scenic miles on the road to the well known Bracknell Forest, where off-road and mountain bike trails are in abundance, there’s plenty of adventure awaiting.

The business has seen it’s bricks and mortar presence expand with Sports Direct bringing its portfolio of businesses under one roof with the new flagship Birmingham branch. The second city ‘flagship’ follows an earlier Oxford Street (London) investment that tested the proposition of bringing the group’s brands under one roof.
