Fli Distribution bolsters kids’ offering with Eightshot

Fli Distribution has rounded out its kids’ cycling portolfio, bringing forward the Eightshot bike brand to complement starter range Puky.

Eightshot stems from the same designers behind Puky in Germany, but caters for a slightly older demographic.

The Eightshot range has been designed with the 5 to 14 age bracket in mind and is focused on developing good kids’ bikes, not just downsizing an adult bike to fit. A combination of low weight and child friendly components gives kids the ability to take on cross country or more aggressive mountain bike adventures. Eightshot offer bikes in 20″, 24″ and 27.5″.

Retail prices start at £389.99 and dealers can expect a margin of 40% on sales. 2021 bikes will start shipping in November 2020 in time for Christmas. Pre-orders are strongly encouraged to ensure stock availability, though those ordering will enjoy the ability to pick and choose with no minimum order quantity.

Should shops be on the lookout for bikes to fill the current demand, Fli says there is a small quantity of 2020 Eightshot bikes left in stock and available for shipping right away.

Puky’s 70-year strong parent has, over time, come to lay claim to being Europe’s largest kids bike brand, turning out 700,000 bikes a year.
