Former Derby Cycle CEO Mathias Seilder joins Enviolo board
Former Derby Cycle CEO Mathias Seidler has joined the Enviolo team as a new board member, bringing a broad experience to a business that is steadily winning fans across the bike market.
Mathias, an entrepreneur with a track record in the mobility market, joined the Enviolo board in December 2020. His background includes companies such as Derby Cycle, Pon Holding, Hero Group, Avocet Sports Ltd.
In his term as CEO of Derby Cycle he developed the company to one of leadership in Europe in the growing e-bike segment and further oversaw the IPO it in 2011.
“Enviolo is an incredible company: headquartered in Amsterdam with main operations in Europe, the United States and world-wide sourcing activities concentrating on a unique product innovation. Mastering this complexity in a time of high business dynamics is a challenge for everyone involved. I am happy to help the board and the management to develop the company further with the expertise I have gained over the years,” says Mathias Seidler.

Enviolo’s growth has now seen it surpass 100 contracts with OEMs in the bike space, ultimately meaning the systems are present on over one million bikes in circulation.
