Frazer Clifford joins CyclingIndustry.News as Head of Sales

CyclingIndustry.News is thrilled to announce the appointment of Frazer Clifford to the role of Head of Sales.

Replacing the outgoing sales contact, Alfie Brown, Frazer’s is a name familiar to almost all in the UK bike business and beyond.

Best known for his leading role in launching and guiding the London Bike Show from 2010 right through to 2019, Frazer is also known as one of the team that launched the still ongoing Rouleur Classic. During his tenure leading the former show Frazer grew the exhibitor book from 50 stands in year one to over 250 by 2019 when Covid-19 called time on the consumer event.

As far back as the early 2000s Frazer was on the periphery of the industry helping run a mountain bike team, so has held relationships with brands and distributors for a long time, although during this time he describes “trying to beg steal or borrow sponsorship and product.”

Frazer has most recently been working in the Gift and Jewellery B2B event business, but it was only a matter of time before he returned to his passion of cycling, where up until very recently he was racing regularly mountain bikes. Nowadays, before work, the locals of Brighton may catch him at The Level skatepark where he boards, or in the sea paddleboarding.

CyclingIndustry.News’ Editor Mark Sutton said of the appointment: “I’m thrilled to have somebody of Frazer’s calibre leading the work on our commercial partnerships, recruitment and progress in tracking the market with our annual research. His track record and contact book in the bike world will add significant expertise for our team and for our clients. Bringing experience from publishing and event management, it gives our team a valuable resource upon which to explore future growth and to deliver for our partners.”

You can now make direct contact with Frazer directly by email here, or by calling 07889 362775.

Frazer concludes: “Drop me a note or call, I’m sure I won’t need an excuse to come and drink a coffee and talk over the exciting plans we have on the horizon.”
