Fully Charged heads west with Cornwall experience centre development

Electric bike retailer and demo centre business Fully Charged has expanded with a new property in Liskeard, Cornwall, taking on the site that formerly housed Fusion Cycles.

The retailer’s third branch builds upon a presence at the Silverstone race circuit, as well as a large central London showroom plot that has a specialist workshop nearby servicing the city’s leisure and business customers.

“We couldn’t be more excited at the start of 2022 to bring the world’s leading electric bike brands to the West Country, and give more people the opportunity to explore further than ever before on our life-changing products,” says Fully Charged Founder, Ben Jaconelli. “The rugged terrains, the beaches, the trails, the towns and villages…simply put the beautiful scenery was carved out for people to go eBiking and that’s why I’m so happy we can introduce Fully Charged Cornwall to the many!”

“There is a huge emphasis on councils in the South West to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030, and electric bikes are fast becoming the transport solution for a greener and happier future here,” continued Chris Childs, Head Partner at Fully Charged Cornwall (and former Fusion Cycles owner). “For us, it’s always about wanting to go that extra mile in providing a quality service and so offering home test-rides to people’s doors anywhere in Cornwall, Devon and South Somerset gives our riders the opportunity to really understand what these bikes can do in their own surroundings.”

Now stocked up and ready to roll, Fully Charged Cornwall is ideally placed for all major-routes in the South West up to Taunton in the North and Penzance in the South. The store will offer a hub for home test-rides, servicing and delivery to the South West whilst it is being developed into an experience centre.
