Fully Charged opens new eBike store in Plymouth

Fully Charged has opened a new store in Plymouth as part of its plan to expand across South West England.

Located at Alma Yard, the new store focuses on family eCargo bikes, electric folding bikes and everyday electric mobility, offering access to some of the world’s leading electric bike brands alongside in-store expert advice.

The store also offers flexible test ride options, with both guided and self-guided experiences available to suit riders of all levels. Customers can take advantage of full technical servicing and long-term support. Tailored eBike solutions are designed for individuals, families and local businesses, providing practical and personalised options for every need.

The Plymouth store acts as a destination retail space within the city’s creative Alma Yard community and offers a full range of finance options, including all major cycle-to-work schemes.

Alongside private customers, the store will support organisations exploring eBikes for commercial use. Since 2014, Fully Charged has delivered eCargo bike fleets, consultancy and long-term servicing for businesses operating across logistics, delivery and event sectors.

“Plymouth already has strong cycling infrastructure, with further improvements planned, and it’s a city where many everyday journeys can genuinely be quicker and more enjoyable by eBike than by car. We also see first-hand the impact of congestion and believe electric bikes — particularly family eCargo bikes — can offer a realistic alternative for many local families,” said Chris Childs, Store Lead at Fully Charged Plymouth. “This sector has been under-represented in Plymouth, and with the backing of Fully Charged we’re able to bring some of the world’s best eCargo bike brands to the city and help families experience how much of a difference they can make to daily life.”

To mark the opening, Fully Charged will host an official eBike demo day on Saturday 18 April, bringing together premium eBike brands, test ride opportunities and the chance for local riders to meet the team.

Eaelier this year, Fully Charged opened its sixth store in the UK at Brighton Marina. The new store offers access to the world’s leading eBike brands, flexible test ride options and full technical servicing. Fully Charged’s team also provides tailored recommendations, setup guidance and ongoing servicing to customers.
