Hebie acquires and integrates metalworks firm, discontinues select aftermarket lines
Components and accessory maker Hebie has announced the acquisition of fellow German metal processing business Koch.
The buyout is set to result in a “significantly expanded” manufacturing capability for Hebie, which will now integrate Koch into its Bielefeld site.
Hebie said: “The new company, like Hebie, embodies a qualitative, high-quality as well as a stable demand and brings many years of expertise in the areas of aluminum and stainless steel into the house.”
The firm has also announced that it will discontinue aftermarket sales of selected lines like luggage carriers, focusing instead on OEM business.
