Hotlines General Manager Anastasi steps down from role
Hotlines has announced that General Manager, Illy Anastasi, stepped down from his position last Friday, 18th January.
Anastasi, who has guided Hotlines since its inception, will be stepping in to a new challenge heading up Leatt’s Global E-commerce and Marketing.
During his time at Hotlines, Anastasi was responsible for bringing the likes of Lapierre, Ghost, Niner, iXS, Gaerne, NS Bikes, Crème, Rondo, WTB in to Hotlines’ UK brand portfolio.
Anastasi said: “After 13 amazing years with Hotlines, the time has come for a new challenge. I would like to thank first and foremost, Ed Ibbetson, who helped build Hotlines into one of the most innovative distributors in the UK and Europe. It has been a privilege to work with Ed and the rest of the hardworking, dedicated, passionate and multi-talented team.
“Additionally, I would also like to thank all the brands and their innovative products that made Hotlines what it is today. I am looking forward to a new chapter in our industry with Leatt.”
In a press release, Hotline’s said: “Illy has brought a great deal to Hotlines over the last 13 years and will be missed by all the team. Illy has always had a good eye for up and coming brands, and the move to Leatt is testament to that.”
Ed Ibbetson and the Edinburgh team will continue serving Hotlines’ brands throughout the UK and Europe.
