Hygge Bikes expands UK dealer network with focus on independent retailers
Copenhagen-based eBike brand Hygge Bikes is ramping up its engagement with independent bike dealers in the UK, targeting retailer growth as a key focus for 2026, the company has confirmed to Cycling Industry News.
The brand, known for its “gimmick-free” eBikes designed for commuting, daily use, and adventure, now operates with two UK-based sales agents covering the north and south of the country:

* Josh Whiting – Sales Agent for Northern England, Wales, and Scotland, adding Hygge to his growing portfolio of premium brands. Contact: [email protected] | +44 7974 423306
* Sam Purnell – Sales Agent for Southern England and Major Accounts, with two years’ experience growing Hygge’s presence across the region. Contact: [email protected] | +44 7765 369149
Hygge offers dealers an exclusive local territory, meaning all servicing requests in that area are directed to the assigned retailer. This ensures that dealers benefit not only from in-store bike sales but also from online orders in their region.
The company also runs a significant online marketing operation, generating numerous test ride requests, all of which are routed directly to the appropriate local dealer. Hygge asks partner shops to maintain a small number of demo bikes, with customer orders drop-shipped directly to the store from Hygge’s UK bases in Datchet and Gloucester.
“We’re experiencing rapid growth, and the retailers we currently work with are seeing strong results,” the company said. “Some shops are selling four Hygge bikes for every one of the slightly higher-priced small folders they carry!”
Independent dealers interested in joining Hygge’s network can get in touch via the sales agents listed above.
