IAA Mobility announces first bicycle brand partners
IAA Mobility has announced the first cycling brands that have registered to exhibit at the show scheduled to take place 7-12 Septmeber 2021 at the Messe München venue.
Internationally renowned complete bike brands will showcase a wide variety of their products. Both regular and electric models from categories like urban, road, cargo, gravel, MTB and more will be showcased. The brands that have confirmed as of today are as follows: Bergamont, Ca Go, Fixie Inc., GasGas Bicycle, Husqvarna E-Bicycles, R Raymon, Riese & Müller, Scott, Simplon, Specialized, Stromer, QWIC and Votec.
Frank Aldorf, Chief Brand Officer for Internetstores such as Bikester, fahrrad.de, Fixie Inc. and Votec said: “Trade shows like the IAA have a future if they consider themselves to be a platform: as a force that is able, temporarily and for a moment, to focus all the energy and attention of the industry and the public on one topic, and thus generate an impact. This in turn creates sustainable value for all involved.
“The new IAA is something that hasn’t been done before and that’s exactly our comfort zone. We are looking forward to it!” he added.
Thanks to the strong B2C focus of IAA Mobility – both at the “Open Space” brand- and product experience hubs in the inner-city and at a separate, B2B2C section of the “Summit” at Munich’s trade fair ground – Direct to Consumer brands and large online retailers have also registered as exhibitors at IAA Mobility. Examples include ROSE Bikes and Internetstores brands fahrrad.de and Bikester. Digital second-hand shop Rebike will also be present.
Established e-component brands such as Bosch, Brose, Mahle, Valeo and ZF are joined by cycling-only competitor, FAZUA.
Fabian Reuter, Co-Founder of FAZUA said: “Bicycles, especially e-bikes, are an essential part of modern mobility. We are very pleased that the IAA also shares this assessment and will open their stage for the e-bike industry. Their modern concept and the wide range of products for all interested parties convinced us right from the start. For us, especially in our hometown of Munich, it is the ideal opportunity to present our idea of athletic and sporty e-biking and its associated products. We have a lot planned.”
In addition to the B2C aspect, all B2B stakeholders will also be united at the Summit. A wide variety of suppliers will be present, such as battery, display, motor, connectivity, IoT-tech, tires and general hardware manufacturers. More complete bike brands, as well as cycling component companies, will be announced in the coming weeks.
