Industry-lead podcasts to return to CI.N in collaboration with Arleigh Greenwald’s Shift Up Strategy
Early in 2018 a collaboration between Arleigh Greenwald’s Bike Shop Girl and CyclingIndustry.News will see the return of an industry-lead podcast to our homepage.
Greenwald will be a familiar name to many in the bike business having run the BikeShopGirl blog and channel for over a decade, as well as being the director of Bike Law, a national network of independent bicycle crash lawyers.
Greenwald’s is focused on building a better bike industry between Bike Law, the Shift Up podcast, and growing Bike Shop Girl to be a bike shop-focused business and marketing consultancy
Greenwald is also in the process of building bikehere.com, a start up driven by a passion to drive customers to great bike shops via great cycling routes.
Starting later this winter, the podcast will be a regular feature with a handful published each month. Among the topics lined up, listeners will hear from experts in the electric bike business on the future trajectory of the market, hear panelists discuss how the industry can make cycling more attractive to the masses and take in discussion on how bike shops can engage their community.
CyclingIndustry.News editor Mark Sutton commented on the collaboration: “Arleigh’s work leading up to the launch of this podcast has been industry-leading in terms of getting important and overdue discussions started in the bike business, so we’re thrilled to play host to the podcast starting early next year. With topics ranging customer creation, through to the trade’s role in advocacy work, we anticipate that the podcast will provide those in the trade with some quality listening to be played in the background as we go about fixing customer bikes and shipping orders.”
For bike shops needing an immediate makeover on the marketing front, Shift Up has this simple checklist available to retailers free of charge.
