Ison Distribution to showcase Connex 12SR Chain at CIN LIVE 2025

Ison Distribution will unveil the new Connex 12SR Bicycle Chain at CIN LIVE 2025, offering riders a high-performance alternative to SRAM’s Flattop chains.

Precision-engineered for modern 12-speed SRAM Flattop drivetrains, the Connex 12SR is designed to deliver razor-sharp shifting and maximum durability without compromise. Each chain is supplied with the legendary Connex Link, which is a tool-free, re-usable joining link, ensuring riders are ready to roll straight from the box.

Manufactured in Germany, the 12SR is crafted from long-lasting, heat-treated steel with a corrosion-resistant nickel silver finish. It is compatible exclusively with SRAM Flattop 12-speed transmission systems and comes with 126 links, weighing in at 285g.

Presented in a nickel silver colourway, the chain has a recommended retail price of £79.99.

The 12SR benefits from advanced engineering, including optimised plate geometry that enables extremely rapid and near-silent shifting. Peripheral chamfering on the outer plate further enhances gear-changing precision, while innovative radial pin riveting and a special pin coating ensure long-lasting performance even under the demanding forces of cross gearing.

Behind the Connex brand is Wippermann, which has been producing chains from the highest-grade steels since 1893. With more than 130 years of expertise and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, the company has built a reputation for combining traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge engineering.

The full Connex range of chains, chainrings, tools and lubricants is available to the UK trade exclusively through Ison Distribution.

Visitors to CIN LIVE 2025 can find Ison Distribution on Stand D5, located opposite the seminar area and refreshments.
