Jamie Williams becomes Lead Video Production Editor at road.cc

Just a few short months after joining road.cc as a tech writer, Jamie Williams has just started as Head of Video for the road cycling website, producing and starring in content on road.cc’s YouTube channel and contributing towards video feature on the website.

In Jamie’s role as tech writer he was appearing on road.cc’s channel regularly and scripting videos; so this move was a natural progression for Jamie, who is a Master of Science with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with expertise in aerodynamics and composite materials.

Jamie is also a competitive road and criterium racer who also enjoys gravel and off-road riding, and is aiming for a Cat 1 British Cycling licence in 2023.

Williams says: “Over the past year, road.cc has shown impressive video growth with a 16% increase in YouTube subscribers, nearly 5 million views and over 285,000 hours spent watching our content on YouTube alone.

“In my new role I am very much looking forwards to continuing to drive this momentum whilst bringing my technical knowledge and some fresh ideas to continue to provide our loyal audience with the trusted and enjoyable content that they have come to expect.”
